Dripbox 2 Battery life

Dripbox 2 Battery life

Postby csetar4nj » Fri Dec 09, 2016 10:26 am

Recently just purchased a Dripbox 2 bought a brand new battery and fully charged it, about an hour into using it the battery is down to 1 bar left. When i take the battery out and put it on the charger it shows 75% still in it and in my others devices as well. Is there a fix for this or an update coming out to correct the battery issues with this device ?

I did that today, still the device itself is showing the battery is empty i take the battery out and put it on a charger it is at 70% battery life left. The mod will not fire with the battery meter being empty. Sounds like this is a hardware problem on Kanger's part and a firmware update is needed

Same issue. Tried both new and used batteries. Less than 1 hour on a full charge. Tried at ~40 watts and 60 watts. Same rapid battery drain. Pull the battery out and put in an IPV4 and it is showing about 75% and vaped on the IPV4 for many more hours. There is a bug in the Dripbox2 firmware. Really sad because on all the other aspects it really seems like a quality device. May have to return it if the firmware is not corrected.

After a bunch of testing where I fully charged 8 batteries 6 Samsung 25R (4 about 3 months old and two new second charge cycle) and 2 Sony VTC4 (9 months old). The batteries all were showing dead between the voltages of 3.65 and 3.702 as measured using my Fluke 115 meter. From my testing the scaling of the firmware seems to be off. The ID of my device is: 496pbjvsrm

The power of the battery cannot support the mod to work ,so the battery icon will display no power. Please change the battery test it ,discharge over 30A.

It's widely known now that the Dripbox 2 doesn't read the battery properly. Surely this can be fixed via a firmware update.
